Shoecare Tips

OUTDOOR

OUTDOOR footwear is usually tanned with extra oils to provide maximum protection against the elements. These oils come to the surface and disappear with wear, so shoecare needs to maintain this good moisture while repelling the elements.

To continue the protection which oiled leather outdoor footwear has when it is new, apply Tana Oiled Leather and Nubuck Protector, Tana Mink Oil or Dubbin.

To remove dirt, grime and to keep the leather soft and supple use Tana Outdoor Cleaner

Since you usually don’t polish outdoor footwear, try Special Care, with Tana insoles to provide extra cushioning in the shoe and Tana laces for quality.

Style Tip #4

Because protection wears off with perspiration and contact with the elements, remember to protect your shoe after every 8 to 10 wearings.
